The project involved a full electrical infrastructure upgrade, including a DNO fuse replacement and meter tale enhancement, to accommodate a new MYENERGI Zappi Glo 7kW EV charger. The installation ensures the property is fully prepared for future electric vehicle charging and potential renewable energy expansions.

Why Did This High Wycombe Homeowner Need an EV Charger Upgrade?

The existing electrical system was operating at maximum capacity, running around 55A. Our team identified that a standard installation wouldn't work without significant upgrades. We collaborated with the local DNO to upgrade the fuse from 60A to 100A, creating additional electrical capacity for the EV charger and future home energy needs.

The Zappi Glo 7kW charger offers a 6.5m tethered cable, perfect for properties with shared or complex driveways.
